Rehab Home Health is owned and operated by nurses.
Offering private duty nursing, home health services,
senior placement, home therapy and specialty programs.
As an emergency room nurse I quickly realized the need for good senior home care. The reasons seniors come to the emergency room can vary from many different core problems including medication mismanagement, malnutrition or just plain loneliness. Seniors are often living in inappropriate housing with uneducated caregivers. My team and I at Rehab Home Health help seniors and their families to maximize their independence and quality of life by tackling those core problems and healing from the inside out which, in turn, prevent re-hospitalizations. With my 20 years of experience in nursing I am strong advocate for my clients and their families, helping them through multiple medical modalities and facing the new challenges that arise every day.
As the Administrator of Rehab Home Health, I am constantly striving to establish long-term, trusting relationships with other like-minded companies and professionals. These relationships will help us to achieve the ultimate goal of superior senior home care.
Thank you for your interest in Rehab Home Health, a little about me… I grew up in a small town called Rensselaer, Indiana. I am the daughter of an accountant/ university professor and a stay-at-home mom. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Indiana University; post graduation, was given the opportunity to see many facets of home care settings as a travel nurse with the opportunity to visit such states Connecticut, Arizona, California, Illinois, Michigan and Washington before finding a home in Florida in 1998 and transitioning from E.R. intensive care units to the home care setting with a passionate drive towards helping the elderly. Over the last 15 yrs, I worked for many different agencies, they taught me how to be independent, compassionate and patient, having gained much experience working with multiple local home care agencies I knew there had to be better way to deliver quality senior healthcare. As the Director of Nursing, I feel that some of my biggest strengths are team-building, compassion and my firm grasp on the ability to leverage technology.
I currently reside in Boynton Beach, FL with my husband Chris, two children, Clay and Josh and our golden Retrievers, I’m a Hoosier at heart, love the beach and outdoor sports and still have a fondness for travel.
