According to the National Institutes of Health strokes are the 3rd leading cause of death and the leading cause of long-term disability in the US. Currently there are around 7 million Americans living with the effects of a stroke.
The Stroke Awareness Foundation recommends learning the signs of a stroke and acting FAST.
